Bevor wir ein neues Projekt starten, studieren wir die Ausgangssituation vor Ort und erheben Daten zum Vorkommen des Verbrechens, auf welches das Projekt abzielt, und wie das Rechtssystem darauf reagiert.
Wir glauben, dass die Kinder, Familien und Gesellschaften, denen wir dienen, das Allerbeste verdienen. Wir sind es ihnen - und denen, die unsere Arbeit ermöglichen - schuldig, dafür zu sorgen, dass unsere Arbeit effektiv ist. Deshalb stützen wir uns bei der Gestaltung und Verwaltung unserer Programme auf Daten, die wir durch strenge Dokumentation, Überwachung und Auswertung sammeln.
Und so funktioniert es:
Bevor wir ein neues Projekt starten, studieren wir die Ausgangssituation vor Ort und erheben Daten zum Vorkommen des Verbrechens, auf welches das Projekt abzielt, und wie das Rechtssystem darauf reagiert.
Während der gesamten Projektlaufzeit messen und analysieren wir Veränderungen in der Art und Weise, wie Polizei, Richter und andere Akteure und Institutionen des öffentlichen Justizsystems auf das Verbrechen reagieren. Wir beobachten insbesondere Veränderungen im Vorkommen des Verbrechens.
Wir nutzen diese entscheidenden Informationen, um sicherzustellen, dass sich die Maßnahmen des Justizsystems zur Bekämpfung des Verbrechens wirklich verbessern und dass diese Verbesserungen gefährdete Menschen tatsächlich sicherer vor der jeweiligen Form der Gewalt machen - unser letztendliches Ziel.
Wir steigern die Wirkung, indem wir das, was wir gelernt haben, mit den wichtigsten Interessenvertretern in den Regionen, in denen wir arbeiten, und mit dem weltweiten Publikum teilen.
